June 6th was pure magic.

A gorgeous backyard wedding, an elegant tent reception, the sweetest families, and a sunset that absolutely showed off. Every detail felt so intentional, thoughtful, and uniquely them.

One of my favorite details? The swans. 🦢

From the swan-inspired touches woven throughout the wedding to the beautiful swans we saw on the property while getting ready, it felt like something straight out of a storybook and added such a special touch to an already beautiful day.

From the emotional moments to the packed dance floor, golden hour portraits, and all the laughter in between, this day was overflowing with love, joy, and unforgettable memories.

There’s something magical about a Detroit summer evening. ✨

I had the best time capturing Veronica and Jerred’s engagement session as we explored some of the city’s most iconic spots. We started in the heart of downtown Detroit, wandering through the streets, chasing beautiful architecture and little moments together before making our way to the Detroit Institute of Arts.

As golden hour settled in, the light turned soft and dreamy, giving us the most beautiful backdrop for their photos. Between the laughter, quiet moments, and the way these two look at each other, it was one of those sessions that reminded me why I love what I do so much.

Veronica and Jerred, thank you for trusting me to document this season of your lives. I cannot wait for everything that’s ahead for you two. ❤️

Tonight I had the honor of capturing Veronica & Jerred’s engagement session in downtown Detroit. 🤍

We wandered through the city, stopped by the DIA, and ended the evening creating some seriously beautiful memories together. I already know their wedding day is going to be something special. ✨

Started this one at Jaylee + Branden’s hunting grounds, ended it on the beaches of Caseville during golden hour with their dog running through the waves, sand everywhere, and the softest sunset imaginable 🌊

These two are so effortlessly sweet together, and somehow they even showed up with flowers for me 😭🤍
I left this session feeling so full creatively and emotionally.

Shot for and now I’m counting down the days until their wedding ✨

Behind the scenes of last night’s shoot… everything was going perfect and then I somehow cut myself and started bleeding everywhere 😂
Bride and groom instantly came to my rescue with a bandaid, truly the sweetest humans. This is what it’s really like out here sometimes lol

Caitlyn and Collin got married last year, and she sent me this video talking about her experience working with me… and I’m not gonna lie, this one meant a lot.

I remember their day so clearly. The energy, the people, everything just felt so genuine. They trusted me fully, and that’s when the magic always happens.

Hearing this back from her reminded me why I care so much about what I do. It’s never just photos to me, it’s the whole experience and how you feel in those moments.

Subrina found me last minute, and I made the call to show up for them, and I’m so glad I did.

From the moment I walked in, everything just felt right. The sweetest couple, the kindest energy, a beautiful church, and a day that felt so genuine and full of love.

These are the kinds of weddings that remind me why I do this. Not just for the photos, but for the people and the connection that lasts long after the day is over.
