There’s a little corner of Macomb that feels almost too magical to be real…

And it just happens to be one of my absolute FAVORITE places to photograph families.

Two little ponds. This cute little dock. Frogs hiding all along the waterline. Fields of green. Trees that make the most beautiful natural backdrops!

But what I love most? There’s just enough trail to give us variety without making little legs (or grown-up legs 😂) completely over it. We can wander, explore, play, and find a whole collection of completely different scenes.. all without going very far.

And living in Macomb, we have this beautiful place practically in the backyard!

I am always so excited when I’m invited to photograph a new baby - but it never fails that it’s the toddler I end up playing with the most!

I love their curiosity, the way they’re determined to steal the show, and how absolutely thrilled they are to see themselves after every photo!! They just bring so much personality to a session!

This session was no different!

Congratulations to this beautiful family! Your newest little addition is absolutely precious, and big sister is pretty adorable too!!!
