Over the weekend, I was going through my past work from the beginning til now. I saw so many of my niece and truly got to see how much growth Ive made over the last 4 years.

My niece was born Feb. 2021. I knew immediately newborn was something sacred and not my niche, but as soon as she started to show little milestones I started snapping away.

Looking back now, I’m so glad I did even if they weren’t always the best lit or framed because my sister and my family will always have these little moments to look back on.

She is the true heart behind my Grow With Me package, and the reason my passion for working with children and families has grown so deeply. 🩷

Hey friends 👋 since there are lots of new faces here (and some familiar ones too!), I thought I’d reintroduce myself.

I’m Ca’Mya, the heart behind Shoots With Mya 📸

✨ For my Henry County families — you’ll always have such a special place in my journey. Thank you for helping me grow and for trusting me to capture your stories. 🤍

✨ For my new Macon neighbors — hi, I’m so excited to be here! I’m a children + family photographer who loves creating cozy, storytelling images filled with real smiles and connection.

A little about me outside of the camera:

• 🖌 I’m a creative at heart (painting, puzzles, anything artsy).

• 💍 I’m recently engaged to my best friend🏳️‍🌈

• 🥤 I’m a Sprite + 🍋lemonade girl through and through.

• 👩‍👧‍👦 My sessions are always kid-friendly. I believe the best photos come from letting kids be themselves.

Alright everyone! The first round of model calls is here!!

We are looking for 4 different families to model a studio or outdoor set for portfolio building! Here at Shoots With Mya, we know that families come in all shapes and forms so we are accepting applications from all types of families.

The requirements to apply are:

•Family of 3-6 with young children
•Everyone must be comfortable in front of the camera
•Must be willing to collaborate on wardrobe
•Must be local of Henry County

Families selected will receive an online gallery with all photos and 5 retouched digital downloads!

To apply:

Only 1 application per family

Hey everyone! I have some exciting news to share! After some motivation and inspiration, I have decided to shift my business to primarily working with children and families (this does include maternity). If you have been on my website or scrolling through my feed, you may have notices slight changes like names and content. As we move forward with the rebranding process, little changes will be implemented, but booking will still be available!

I want to fill my portfolio with content that showcases the heart of Shoots With Mya and work I am capable of!

So we will be hosting model calls in the coming weeks! We will be looking for a variety of models including children, families, and expecting parents. So tag your friends and family, we would love for you to be a part of this amazing journey!
