And it’s time to forget the timeline, grab your person, and just dance.

Because after all the planning, it was never really about the perfect day. It was about getting to this moment, surrounded by the people you love, celebrating the person you get to choose for the rest of your life.

The Bernardos

Mother Nature clearly didn't get the "outdoor ceremony" memo — but these two didn't miss a beat. 🌧️ When the rain rolled in, they just rolled with it, trading the garden for an indoor backdrop that ended up being even more perfect than plan A.

Funny how that works when you're that stupidly, beautifully in love — everything just falls into place, even the parts that weren't supposed to happen.

Surrounded by family, friends, and a whole lot of love, they said "I do" in a space that felt like it was made for them all along. Proof that the best love stories don't wait for perfect weather.

Happy World Photography Day. 📸

There’s something pretty special about being invited into someone’s biggest moments and trusted to turn them into memories that last.

Getting to preserve the little glances, ugly cries, wild dance moves, happy tears, and all the in-between moments is something I never take for granted.

I’m endlessly grateful for the incredible couples who let me tell their stories through my lens. I truly get to do what I love, with some pretty amazing people along the way.

There are some wedding days that go exactly according to plan. And then there are the ones that become something even more meaningful.

A huge storm rolled through on their wedding day, leaving their venue without power. But in the darkness, surrounded by the people they love most, they got married anyway. No perfect lighting. No perfectly executed timeline. No distractions.

Just two people choosing each other, with their favorite people gathered around to witness it.

Some wedding days are beautiful because everything goes right.

This one was beautiful because nothing could stop them from saying I do. ⛈️💍

Some weddings stay with you long after the cameras are packed away.

A year ago today, I had the privilege of standing behind the lens as my wife's best friend, and someone I'm lucky to call a friend too, married the person who felt like home all along.

There's something different about photographing people you know. You recognize the nervous smiles before the ceremony, the inside jokes that never make it into the vows, the happy tears that need no explanation. Every frame carries a little more weight because you know the story that led to it.

Here's to the first year, the first chapter of that story you started writing together.

Every great adventure deserves an unforgettable opening scene.

With the Capitol standing timelessly behind them and spring putting on its finest performance, they exchanged vows, shared happy tears, and laughed with the kind of joy that makes a moment unforgettable. It was the perfect beginning for two people who have always found their greatest adventures in each other.

Here's to taking the scenic route, saying "yes" to every new adventure, and discovering that the most extraordinary destination has always been side by side.

What began as a shared hobby became the prologue to a love story all their own. Like threads patiently woven together, two separate lives formed something stronger, richer, and more beautiful than either could have imagined.
