At the Lake Magazine was given the exclusive to photograph the revitalized Stone Manor in Lake Geneva—a rare first look inside the historic 1901 Renaissance Revival mansion.
Originally built for Otto Young, the mansion is layered with history. Carved into the Bedford limestone facade, Young's daughters still face the lake. Inside the artisan plaster moldings are now reimagined in white, showcasing the hand laid parquet flooring and giant marble fireplaces. The new owner has honored and updated Young’s original vision—returning the home to a single-family residence including a rooftop pool and three tiered bunk room. It is now modern and bright and no less storied.
Grateful to document this next chapter. You can find the full story in the latest issue of At the Lake Magazine, written by Lauren Eve.
