I had the honor of documenting the most incredible wedding weekend—filled with the best energy, so much love, and nonstop fun. From start to finish, everyone was fully present and soaking it all in. Reminiscing on this gorgeous wedding at Greencrest Manor in Michigan.

Rain on and off throughout the day—the ceremony delayed, plans changing, time stretching a bit longer than expected.

But nothing felt off. The pace of the day was easy, drinks in hand, good food, laughter shared among friends and family, candlelight filling the reception space as the evening settled in.

Even when plans change, what matters most is the time you spend with the people you love. The hugs, the small unplanned moments—those are the ones you’ll carry with you long after the day is over.

Sharing these words as a reminder to myself too: showing up for each other and the people you love, and savoring the time you get together—that’s what it’s all about.

They said their vows with the ocean just beyond them, drifted into cocktail hour with mariachi music and signature drinks in hand, and gathered for dinner as the coast glowed under candlelight. By the time the dance floor filled, it felt easy — laughter, movement, tequila, and the kind of energy that comes from a group that showed up ready to celebrate.

There’s a certain kind of energy to a wedding day when people feel free to be fully themselves.

No pressure to perform.
No rushing past the moments that matter.

Just sunlight through the trees, color everywhere, laughter carrying across the lawn, and a dance floor that feels more like home than a production.

These two built a day around presence — being with their people, soaking it in, letting joy be the loudest thing in the room. And that’s where the magic always is.
