Hi friends! 👋

I don’t think I’ve ever done a “get to know me” post so here it goes!

A bit about my photography background—I’ve loved photography since I was probably 8 or 10 when my aunt gifted me my first little canon camera. I used everything on our farm as a subject, from flowers to cows to my siblings. When I was about 15, I was gifted a bigger and better camera, which I used for years before finally getting a more professional beginner camera which I used for my first real photos shoots. I quickly grew out of that one as my business picked up so it was time to upgrade again!

My little business has grown most over the last 5-6 years and I’ve been so grateful for all my clients who have trusted me over the years! I love all types of photography but I’m especially partial to capturing weddings and families. I’m central to north AL but I’ve been known to travel for weddings and loved it!

A little more about me—I grew up in a Traditional Catholic family with 8 siblings and our lovely Mom homeschooled all 9 of us. I married my wonderful husband in early 2023 and we just welcomed our 3rd little blessing a few weeks ago. 💛

A bonus detail about me is that I also worked as a professional cake decorator for over 3 years. It was during this time that I met my husband!

With 3 little ones now, my hands and heart are so full but I want to continue my photography as long as God wills it! I’m excited to see what is ahead and to hopefully meet many new clients in the future.

Another sweet baptism from a couple of weeks ago. 🤍

The sacrament of Baptism is one of my favorite things to photograph. However, I would be grateful for more natural lighting in our church. 🫣 If you know me, you know I light bright and airy photos so I have to deviate from that a bit when I do photos of sacraments. They are still ever so sweet though. 🥰

I was honored to have been asked by a local parish to be the photographer for Fr. John Gardiner’s first Mass at his home parish last Sunday. Father Gardiner is a newly ordained priest for the diocese, having been just ordained the day before this Mass.

May Our Lady place her protective mantle over Father Gardiner throughout his life so that he may fulfill his priestly vocation all the days of his life.

These two happened yesterday!! I had to keep double checking because my brain refused to believe I had a wedding on a Tuesday! 🤣 But it was a beautiful day for a sweet couple. ❤️ And CHILLLLLL…they were so chill! That’s always a huge relief for a photographer. 👌🏻

Thankfully the rain held off for most of the day! It’s been raining every day for the last week so we were very blessed to get all the photos we wanted and still had about 15 minutes to spare before the storm hit. 😎

The innocent beauty of children on their First Holy Communion day will forever be one of my favorite things. 🤍

Congratulations to H & S!!!

What a beautiful couple and a wonderful day it was for them yesterday. It was a short day for me but I am grateful for that because I’ve been sick for the last 6 days and was not feeling well at all. It was super easy to forget about being sick while watching these two, though. Best distraction ever! 🥰
