Just a few weeks away from celebrating Erin + Michael❣️

Wedding season is officially in full swing and a common theme during all of my timeline planning + detail calls this season has been: "will this make it feel like 'a wedding' or 'your wedding'"?

Especially in the last few months of planning, it's easy to fall into the trap of "more is better" or playing the comparison game, but remember... your wedding is not a performance, it's a celebration! It's not for Instagram, it's for YOU! 🫶🏼

I had the privilege of spending two days with Kelsie and Jason and their families and friends and when it was (unfortunately) time to fly home, I literally missed everyone 😭 Like what do you mean we all just met??? From Kelsie's bridal luncheon with her girls at 🫖🌸, to their rehearsal dinner at 🌿🌮, and finally spending their wedding day , I laughed, cried, and danced my heart out with the kindest, coolest humans.

It's senior season!! I have had such a blast with my 90 min senior sessions this summer!! Spending Wisconsin summer nights outside so often, shooting with the coolest, funniest people... how lucky am I??? I was so excited to take Sequoia's photos after having such a fun time shooting her brother's senior pics last year! (Doesn't she look like Tate McRae??)

Hannah and Cody kill it every single time omggggggg 😍 We were reunited for their engagement session and once again, the Capitol was just glowing with the most gorgeous sunlight!! I say this every time, but shooting here never ever gets old. I have an elopement here at the end of August and I cannot wait to be back!

If only I was a talented writer like Emma, so I could find the words to describe how joyful and love-filled (is that even an adjective? Emma please help me) this day was. Emma and Jacob celebrated 10 years together with one of the most romantic wedding ceremonies I've ever had the privilege of witnessing. Not only was the day filled with the purest love, but the loudest cheers, the funniest jokes, and dare I say.... the best dance floor???

(Idk if I've ever had such a hard time narrowing it down to 20 photos)
