Eloping in the pouring rain can have it’s perks. This was Memorial Day weekend in Central Park, and instead of the whole city being out to celebrate, we had the park basically to ourselves. New York in the rain = Pure romance 🖤

This morning we woke up early, picked up some smoothies, and took the pups to this spot close by our house where George Washington and the Continental Army set up camp during the Revolutionary War.

We got the chance to photograph this beautiful couple and all their kids and grandkids a couple weeks back in honor of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. It’s really amazing to see a couple still so in love after so many years. Here’s to many more years of love and happiness!! 🍾🎉❤️

The last few weeks have felt like years!

So much has happened. We celebrated a birthday, were vaccinated, I walked into a store for the first time in over a year, the trees started blooming, Easter snuck up on us, we put away our winter coats for the season, we finally cleared the clutter off our bookshelves (which was in the “works” for a while).

It’s little things but they all feel so new and exciting, like something big and life changing is about to happen, perhaps it’s because we are all starting to heal? Being at home all the time kept us safe but it also kept us numb. I can’t wait to feel, see, do all the things again through this new lens.

Anyone else excited for things?! What are you looking forward to doing the most?

Can’t believe it looked like this outside just a few weeks ago and now it’s 65 and sunny. Cool to get to shoot in these conditions but much cooler to go outside without a jacket right now 🌞
