My husband and I recently got hired for a new freelance job (mainly for video work) and the most delightful thing about any (but especially THIS job) is all the wonderful people we get meet and work with and/or alongside. Really, I get giddy when it's a work day for this company!
Haley is one of these sweet people (I nicknamed her the office elf -- because she helps make things possible) and recently I got to snap some impromptu head-shots for her.

(This is not an official ad... but I will say that if you are looking to buy a house in the Milwaukee/lake country area, you should definitely consider working with Realty Executives Integrity. Their people are the best -- No Joke!)

I recently got a phone call from an interested client... who turned out to be my backstreet neighbour... who also happens to share my mother-tongue (which is German) in a city where I have spoken only English for 7 years. I have to confess that when this happened I could’t help but think to myself:
"I’ll keep it professional as long as i have to —but after that I want to her friend!” 🙂

Julia. This girl rocks! She is like a wholesome, dark-chocolate sea-salt caramel -- with rainbow sprinkles on top and a layer of magic on the inside. Determined, giving, deep, hard-working, adventurous, full of fun and always ready to laugh. I am thankful to know her.
