It is with much sadness to announce the passing of Trimble County Special Deputy Guy Gene Cutshaw. Deputy Cutshaw served with the Trimble County Sheriff's office since 2002.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Leslie, his children and Trimble County Sheriff’s Office.

Randell Funeral Home Obituary for:
Mr. Guy Gene Cutshaw, age 66, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at his residence. He was born November 19, 1955 in Madison, Indiana, the son of Gene Gaylan and Mary Catherine (Trout) Cutshaw.

Mr. Cutshaw was a 1974 graduate of Trimble County High School and retired on July 1, 2011 as an equipment operator in the coal yard for the Indiana Kentucky Electric Corporation, Madison. He had served there since March 3, 1981. While working for IKE, he piloted coal boats on the Ohio River. Mr. Cutshaw was currently serving as a special deputy for the Trimble County Sheriff’s Department, after being appointed by the late Sherrif Tim C***s in 2002.

He was a member of Southeast Christian Church, a past member of the Bedford Rotary Club, and enjoyed rabbit hunting with his beagles. He was also an equestrian. His horse, Sterling, was a two-time champion at the Equine Affaire’s Versatile Horse and Rider Competition.

Survivors include his wife, the former Leslie Balderson, to whom he was married on May 20, 2005 in Milton; one daughter, Brooke Humphreys of Madison; one son, Kyle Cutshaw and his wife, Melissa, of Madison; one step-daughter: Ashley Lewis and her husband, Scott of Wilmington, Delaware; one step-son, Zach Hawkins and his wife, Danielle, of Madison; two sisters: Charlene McCutchen and her husband, Dallas of Bedford and Laura Overton of Milton; four grandchildren: Kinsley, Coltin and Brierley Humphreys, and Rory Cutshaw; and three step-grandchildren: Laura, Rachel and Megan Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and brother-in-law: Debbie and William Hayslett; and one niece, Trinity Overton.

The Reverend Greg Allen will conduct the funeral services.
