I’m a storyteller, video producer, former award-winning television journalist, communications professional, podcast coach, and the founder of Untold Media By Amy LLC.

For 15 years, I worked in television news, telling stories that informed, inspired, and connected communities. After leaving the newsroom, I spent time on a global marketing team helping communicate complex ideas to audiences around the world.

Today, I combine both experiences to help businesses, nonprofits, and organizations tell stories that build trust, create connection, and inspire action.

A few things about me:

🤍 I’m a working mom of two who understands the balancing act of chasing big dreams while being present for the people who matter most.

👂 Listening is my superpower (however my husband may say otherwise 😂). Some of the best stories aren’t found in a script—they’re discovered by asking the right questions and truly hearing the answers.

😊 I believe creating great content should be collaborative, enjoyable, and maybe even a little fun. My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, whether you’re a seasoned speaker or someone who’d rather do almost anything than be on camera.

One of the biggest misconceptions about video?

That you need a massive budget to tell a powerful story.

Now, to be clear — every project I take on involves pre-planning. I always spend time researching the brand, understanding the audience, identifying the purpose of the video, and preparing thoughtful interview questions before we ever hit record.

That preparation is what allows me to pull authentic, impactful responses on camera.

But this recent project looked a little different.

Because the client was working within a tighter budget, we leaned even more heavily into the strategy and planning side before shoot day.

We scripted key moments.
Mapped out messaging.
Planned transitions and supporting visuals ahead of time.

Why?

Because strategy saves time. And time impacts budget.

By doing more work on the front end, we were able to capture meaningful interviews and strong supporting b-roll in a much tighter timeframe — while still creating content that felt authentic, polished, and impactful.

Every project I create is customized to fit the goals, audience, and resources available.

So if you think your budget means video “isn’t possible” right now… think again. 🎥✨

There’s almost always a creative solution — you just need the right strategy behind it.

Motherhood has changed me in the best possible ways.
This title is one I spent years praying for — and now every day I get to experience the joy, chaos, growth, and deep love that comes with it.
Today I’m feeling especially grateful for the women who helped shape me into the mother and woman I am today. My mom taught me to never settle, to keep pushing myself even when things feel scary, and to believe I’m capable of more. And my grandmas gave me the kind of unconditional love that leaves a mark forever. One I still get to hug today, and one I carry with me in my heart every single day.
To all the moms and mother figures out there — thank you for the love, strength, sacrifice, encouragement, and care you pour into others. The work you do matters more than words can say.
