I was out at Jordan Creek last night and enjoyed the fireworks for Americas 250th birthday!. I setup the camera and let it run while I enjoyed the show. Here's a few of my favorites.

Maybe just maybe the X class flare this afternoon will launch a CME our way. Hopefully it will hit and generate a geomagnetic storm that is visible in the US for once during the short summer night, we won't be smoked out or hazed out from high humidity and won't pass out from the heat. Is that to much to ask?
