The Milky Way over Acadia National Park this past week. I was lucky enough to snap this one on a quick stop when out to see the peak Perseids Meteor shower this past week. It was an exceptionally dark night and it was spectacular out. This one may be one of my favorites so far this year.

The northern lights from the January 20th storm.

The pulsing during this storm was incredible and we even saw it close to overhead very briefly. It was cold but it was worth it for this one. I knew it was going to be good when I could see it even before getting out of the car. Definitely a top 3 storm but something special about being out seeing it with the snow adds to it.

Capturing the Wolf Moon over Acadia this past weekend. Just a slight bit of atmos distortion but it was beautiful from the seawall. A couple more from some snowy hikes around Old Town.

Moonrise shot on a super-telephoto 800mm which is what gives you that incredible super moon view, but also it was indeed a super moon. This one lived up to its reputation as a super cold moon too.
