nothing like an in-home newborn session on a rainy summer morning🤎

just you, your little fam, and that soft, natural light coming through the windows making it all look even dreamier than it is

these early days are so incredibly special - the sleepy snugs, tiny wrinkled feet, the way your whole world feels like it’s shifted overnight

it’s all so fleeting in a way that’s hard to comprehend while you’re living it

I feel incredibly lucky to be the one invited into these little pockets of your life to bottle it all up exactly as is, so you can come back and relive these moments for the rest of your life

briefly emerging from my editing cave to post this sweet fam who I’ve had the privilege of documenting through pregnancy, the newborn days, and now Liam’s first birthday 🤎

time really does fly by, and ironically, the moments we want to hold onto the tightest are always the ones that seem to pass by the quickest

so consider this your reminder: whether you book a professional photoshoot or not, take the photos. because one day, you’ll be so glad you have the little moments you thought you’d remember forever
