This Eastern Bluebird gave me some very nice poses and then seemed to get annoyed with me following him for a bit so I got the “can I f*cking help you” look 😂 still pretty cute either way! Absolutely love their vibrant blue colors against the green backdrop 🩵

Nothing like having one of the largest wild animals in CT just hanging out in your backyard! This black bear loves to roam our neighborhood and munch on all the dandelions and scratch his back on the trees. I’m so happy I was able to get a few shots right from my window! A very photogenic boy for sure 😍

The female birds are always the less likely to catch your attention. At first glance this pretty lady might just look like a Starling but she’s actually a Red Winged Blackbird! It’s funny because lots of female birds look similar enough to their male counterparts but these girls are quite different, specifically color wise. I do absolutely love a Red Wing bird call though so even though I couldn’t spot any males to photograph, I still got to listen to their song!

Which crop do you prefer for this cute Eastern Bluebird?
I think deciding how to crop a photo is one of the toughest choices for me while editing. I love having the close up of the subject, but I also love seeing more of the background and nature behind the subject! Thankfully I don’t HAVE to pick haha, I can just share both 🤪

Happy Earth Day! So grateful to be able to experience and capture all the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer us. Wildlife and landscape photography has made me appreciate it all so much more! Wether it’s capturing wildlife in my own backyard or traveling all the way to Washington and Alaska, it’s all breathtaking

I’m so grateful that I get to call this property my home. It’s been a while since I’ve been active on this page, but so much has changed. I’ve gotten married, bought a new home and have been slowly moving in and making it our forever home ❤️ This plot of land has so much wildlife and I can’t wait till it warms up so I can capture all that it has to offer! Ransom is obviously loving this weather and his new backyard!
