Have yourself a squidgey little Christmas! 🎄

It’s been a very slow season of photography as I’ve decided to take on very little right now, but I just absolutely HAD to photograph this tiny lovey!

It’s crazy to think my baby girl was also in this place just about six months ago…and I remember it as if it were yesterday.

This is such a special time, and it was so fun to freeze a few moments in time for this little family. ♥️

Putting the "motion" in "emotion." 😝

I’ve had this ready to go for a while now, but life had other plans. Our sweet baby girl joined us in the outside world six days early on June 6th! So in honor of that, here are some fun memories from one of my final pre-baby sessions back in April.

My favorite piece of parenting advice given to us:

“You’ve got a big gut after you give birth, so just go with it.” -Damon Young 😂

But in all seriousness, I’m going to miss this dear family with all my heart as they head off to their new lives and ministry in Maryland. It’s been such a blessed year getting to know them, and I just don’t feel I have words expressible for how much they mean to me and Robbie.

So I guess for now, it’s “see you later.” ❤

It was 20°...maybe less...but it was a day of warmth and love as Nicole and Gerson joined hands and hearts.

One of the sweetest things about the day were the memories shared during their ceremony. For someone who didn’t know them very well, this was special. For someone who would be striving to capture their personalities and their love for each other, this was a gift.

To be able to get even just a glimpse into their lives and be there to witness and document the support of family and friends from down the street or across the globe...this was a joy to my heart.

Congrats again to Nicole and Gerson on this beautiful, frigid, wonderful day. You were troopers out there in the cold (lookin’ especially at you, girl!), and I couldn’t have been happier to be there celebrating with you. ♥️❄️

Sometimes life throws you curveballs you don't expect, and when that happens, you make the most of it...and that's exactly what Emily and Alex did with their special elopement. From what would have been a full wedding at a brewery to what actually came to be — the sweetest elopement at a romantic farm on the most beautiful of summer evenings — this was definitely one to remember.
