A few things you should know before you book with me… 🤍

Your kids can be kids.
You don’t have to know how to pose.
You don’t have to apologize for the chaos.
You don’t have to wait until you lose the weight or feel more “photo ready.”
And if you don’t want your photos or your kids’ faces shared online, I won’t. Period.

I’m not here to create some perfectly polished version of your family.

I’m here for YOUR family.

The personalities. The belly laughs. The clingy toddler. The kid who wants absolutely nothing to do with my camera. 😂 The snuggles, the movement, the chaos and all those tiny in-between moments you don’t even realize I’m catching.

Sydney + Thomas are one of those couples you just can’t help but smile around. Their love is easy, sweet, genuine, and surrounded by some pretty amazing family + friends.

The whole day was full of laughs, love, happy tears, and just GOOD energy exactly what a wedding day should feel like.

After a week of alarms, lunches, drop-offs, pick-ups, schedules, sports, work and approximately 847 things to remember…

THIS is the Friday energy. 😂

I swear I blinked and summer was over… and somehow I’m entering September already feeling BEHIND. 😅

Anyone else?!

Behind on editing
Behind on emails
Behind on inquiries
Behind on house stuff
Behind on the laundry that apparently reproduces overnight .... literally still have 18 month clothes mixed into my 3T clothes still 🤪

And sometimes I catch myself thinking, “Why can’t I keep up with everything?”

Then I remember…

10 years ago, before kids and before I had a business THIS full, I thought I was busy.

I had NO freaking clue. 😂

Now I’m raising two boys, running a business I built from the ground up, photographing SO many incredible families, keeping a house somewhat functioning, trying to have a life somewhere in between… and probably expecting way too much of myself.

Maybe I’m not behind.

Maybe my life is just really, really FULL. 🤍

And speaking of full… my fall + holiday calendar is getting there FAST. 🍂🎄

Weekends are becoming very limited, but I still have weekday evening availability and honestly, those golden fall evenings are some of my FAVORITE sessions.

So if you’ve been saying, “I need to book our fall phots"

THIS is me reminding you to actually do it.

Just over here trying to edit + finish up all these summer shoots… while reminding myself we still have another couple weeks of “summer” before everything starts looking and feeling like FALL. 🍂

So YES there’s still time to squeeze in those end-of-summer sessions. 🤍 and I KNOW I have a few reschedules to get in there.

I’m going to do a full summer wrap-up soon, but I just looked at the numbers and…

June + July + August:
132 sessions + 3 weddings. 🤯

ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY TWO sessions.

And somehow we’re just keeping that momentum rolling right into fall. 🥹

But here’s the part that really gets me…

My first year in business, 12 years ago, I photographed 5 sessions.

Five.

I started as just a girl with a camera who loved taking pictures of people… and year after year, family after family, you guys kept showing up. You trusted me with your babies, your growing families, your milestones, your weddings and all those little in-between moments.

And now here we are.

132 sessions in ONE summer.

That will never not be wild to me.

So yeah… keep showing up.
Keep growing.
Keep learning.
Keep doing the thing you love.

Just keep on keeping on. 🤍📸

And maybe drink another coffee because FALL IS COMING. 😂🍂
