this song came on in my car today and every single time I hear it, I can’t help but think of this day & smile so big❤️‍🔥

the way this crew has such a reverence for God, to not only include worship in the quiet moments during the ceremony — but in the really loud ones with their friends on the dance floor too!!!! 🙌🏼

it’s such a good reminder that following Jesus isn’t just a quiet “amen” and solemn prayer, but pure joy in the midst of everything. like all caps, J-O-Y, big, meaningful, and a little crazy too💫

crawling outta my little cave of ✨editing+shooting+planning+nesting✨ to say heyyyy👋🏼 between all of the beautifully fun sessions & weddings this past month and finding some sort of balance, apparently the first thing to fall to the bottom of the totem pole was socials😅🙈

my first priority has always been and will always be my clients. so much that if no one but us & who they share them with see the images that’s totally okay with me🤷🏽‍♀️

but in all seriousness, I very much understand that a lot of them need to be shared, seen & appreciated - not just within the “walls” of their galleries. even just typing this rn gets me PUMPED to share more with you❤️

the madche family’s farewell to 309🏡

they said goodbye to the home where they started their family and celebrated in the best way🥹 reminiscing on the good old days, while making space for even more of them❤️

but I’m told you can’t hurry love, you just have to wait🤭🤷🏽‍♀️

almost 2 weeks short of a year ago blake & eva did their very first couples session with me and said what most people say, leading to the same conclusion they all come to…

“we’ve never had professional pictures taken”
“we don’t know what we’re doing”

… but they did. because they knew exactly how to love each other and that’s the secret sauce🤫

the second time around for their engagement session they knew a little bit more about working with me, but they still didn’t know exactly how to pose & (spoiler) they👏🏼didn’t👏🏼have👏🏼to👏🏼

during my booking process, i’ve stopped asking clients to build a pinterest board (unless you already have one lol, I won’t stop you + will 100% bring your vision to life) because frankly I have more important questions to ask that help me get to know you instead of who you think you should be❤️

i’ve always been a sucker for little baby clothes in general for as long as I can remember & at maternity sessions especially, but since my own pregnancy — I’m just a WRECK, they’re so tiny and adorable, I cannot handle the cuteness😭

couldn’t be more excited to meet baby boy in person this week!!!!!🥹
