Class of 2027!!! Senior year deserves more than just “nice pictures.” It should feel like you.
For Sam’s session, we kept it simple, modern, and a little artistic. Downtown streets, clean architecture, strong light, movement, and a few frames that feel more like editorial portraits than traditional senior photos.
That’s always my goal with senior sessions: not to put everyone into the same poses, but to build the shoot around the person in front of my camera.

I love sessions like this relaxed, natural, and not overly posed. Just movement, personality, a beautiful location, and those little in-between moments that make the photos feel real.

When I photograph a senior session, I’m not just thinking about taking beautiful pictures.
I’m thinking about the person in front of my camera, their personality, their style, the right location, composition, light, and all the little details that can make the photographs feel truly personal. We look for interesting places, work with the environment, and create images that feel like them not just another set of senior pictures.
Because this stage of life is so unique. It’s that small space between childhood and adulthood when so much is already changing, but so much is still ahead.
And I think that’s exactly why senior portraits matter. They preserve not only how someone looked at this age, but who they were in this moment.
