One of my favorite things about this job is getting to document people as they step into the life they've dreamed about for years.

There is something incredibly special about photographing someone who has worked tirelessly toward a goal, especially when that goal started as a childhood dream.

This session was more than celebrating an acceptance letter. It was celebrating years of hard work, determination, sacrifice, and a little girl who always knew she wanted to care for animals.

As someone who gets a front-row seat to so many milestones, these are the moments that remind me why I love what I do. Documenting good-hearted people becoming exactly who they were meant to be never gets old.

Congratulations on your next chapter future Dr. Rivas. K-State Vet Med is lucky to have you. 🤍🐾
