My heart breaks for all of the wonderful people who have cared for this amazing beast. Tembo arrived at the Topeka Zoo in 1976. At 56 years old, she was humanely euthanized this morning due to significant decline in health. These are my most recent photos of Tembo from earlier this year.

I'm so grateful that my youngest still happily honors my wish for Mother's Day photos. It's the one thing that I truly want, but this kiddo also made me crepes for breakfast and fondue for dinner. Lucky Mama!

I want to document your TRUE COLORS both literally and figuratively. And there is no better place for that than a Pride festival!

This is my favorite type of event to photograph people. A place where everyone shows up to share their genuine truth. No judgment. No apologies. Just beautiful you. I love that my daughter was excited to join me at Little Apple Pride this year, and she's looking forward to more colorful fun this summer!

Tag 'em if you know 'em so they can find 'em, but never hesitate to request a photo be removed for any reason.
