Praying for all our troops. To my past military family clients, please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers, always.
I’ve heard your stories, I’ve heard your worries. Know you’re not alone🤍 My life at Camp Lejeune as a military spouse may be over, but I still think of you all and you all are in my prayers.
I remember my conversations with each and every client, ones I still keep in contact with and ones I pray for from afar. from late night bo***ir sessions talking about your husbands deployments, to our worries, to long awaited homecomings eager to have your spouse safe in your arms. I am so grateful to have been able to capture your memories, and hear your stories also. You’re all family to me. 

Lean on your community, reach out for help for all those late night worries, know you aren’t alone. Seasoned spouses, reach out to newer ones. I remember feeling so alone and then so welcomed into your community.

As a mom and photographer, children’s safety is my number one priority, always. While I’ve been battling the idea of not posting my child’s full face publicly, it’s been weighing on my heart that I shouldn’t post my clients children either. Over the last few months I’ve thought so long and hard about how I was going to do this, being a family based photographer it’s hard to find a middle ground.
And being a mother, it breaks my heart. We all want to show off our beautiful children and our memories. Photography is real, raw emotion.
My public profiles are to show my work, not everyone else’s children. And your children’s safety comes before anything for me. I support anything parents choose to do with their photos, but I would hate for my posts to end up in the wrong hands.

From here on out I will not be posting ANY full face images of children under high school age. High school students and their families will have the choice, as they always have.
Children’s photos posted on public social media will be side profile, from angles you cannot see their full face or blurred.
Full faced images will only be used on MY private Facebook groups where I control activity, business cards, and client guides which are only directly sent to booked and paid clients. *ONLY WITH PERMISSION FROM PARENTS*

This will NOT affect what you get in your final gallery, you will still get all the photos you normally would. Your children laughing, the love in their eyes and the real and raw emotions.
You are still free to share your photos wherever you’d like!

Your photos aren’t made for my portfolio, they are made for your memories. And your families safety and privacy matter to me more than anything.
