“Did you really spend all that money in downtown just to leave the roads a mess?”

I’ve see a variation of that question going around a lot lately…here is the answer:
👉 NO!

You will see Kokosing beginning to mill the road very soon and then applying fresh asphalt. We will be paving all the way from the Lex Ave/S. Main split up through Main Street to meet up with where ODOT recently resurfaced N. Main. A whole new roadway.

What else is yet to come?
👉 The arches going on the square should be here in the next couple weeks.
👉 The seating areas in the plazas in front of both bank buildings will be completed.
👉 The left turn lane on Park Ave East onto S. Diamond Street will be opened.
👉 …and a whole lot more!

And don’t forget, Main Street will be two-way at the end of the project. There will be some punch list items getting crossed off the list after October but we will all be glad to see the finishing of the major construction. 🚧

Thanks to ALL who have worked so hard on this project for so many years! The NEW Main Street is just around the corner!
