All good things must come to an end ❤️

After six years of filming I feel at peace saying I am no longer booking clients. I feel so grateful to all of the couples who chose me to film their big day (esp during my cringeworthy early days 😜). Each wedding feels like a chapter in my life that I look back on fondly and with gratitude.

I have a new muse these days and he calls me “Ma”.

I started this business when I was in a really unhealthy relationship and a pretty rough place in life…a time when my last name wasn’t Zeigler.

When it came time to pick a name for my business I wanted something that embodied me and everything that I am, but I knew I didn’t want it to consist of my first or last name… in the back of my mind I was hopeful my business would last longer than my legal name. One day I would get out but my business would remain 🤍

I settled on the name Stone Ridge Studios — after the street that I grew up on, the street and house that essentially built me—- not to mention the same street I found the love of my life 🤍

It’s been a long journey but here I am back where it all started — 9 months pregnant with a new last name, anxiously awaiting the arrival of our son— and “Stone Ridge Studios” still going strong 💙

One for the books 📚 Not the picture necessarily, it’s just a quick iPhone picture I took while standing back and taking in the moment.

Yesterday I filmed my last couple before having this baby — just 3 weeks before my due date, and to say I’m tired today would be an understatement. This couple, their families, and all of their vendors were so sweet and helpful and I’m so grateful🤍

Today I’m feeling pretty accomplished and looking forward to the day I get to hold my son in my arms and tell him about the time we filmed a wedding together on an 80 degree day 9 months baked 🤍
