A 13-minute hiking piece built from the ground up.

The shoot took place over ~10 hours in the field, with ~6 hours of hiking and location capture. The full edit was assembled in DaVinci Resolve.

From there, the project moved into Logic Pro, where the score was written and produced directly to picture. Roughly 12 hours were spent shaping the music to the edit.

The score shifts with the terrain, pacing, and small moments of dialogue along the trail. Everything was shaped directly around the footage after it existed.

First release goes live tomorrow.

Went out on the trail Saturday to gather some footage....after about 12 miles and 1,400 feet, we were cooked. Now that im back, time to comp together all the good stuff....stay tuned 🤙
