I shot weddings with my “hassy” for maybe a year before switching to Canon 1DX back in early to mid 2000-something. When my son, Jack, took me on a photo adventure where you drive around, stop and shoot whatever your creative eye sees… mine spied Jack! His speed operating this all-manual-hunk-of-love-hassy like it was a 35mm just blew me away 🤯 My hassy was in good hands.

Naz + Garrett brought all the feels to their engagement session. I’m thrilled with how their curated portfolio turned out. It was a joy to capture them together, playing by the surf. I custom edit all images using MBP presets. S/O to , thank you for second shooting with me.

Sappy photographer moment. A lot of effort and emotion goes into planning your wedding. Months of check lists, decision making and crafting signature details and let’s not forget prayers for clear skies. The day flies by for the couple and guests too. It’s a lot of work. One of the reasons i love my job is i get to experience one of the happiest days two people will share but at a much slower pace. As I edited through April + Kerry’s images it was hard for me to put into words what I was seeing up close, on my 27” monitor, compared to my cameras viewfinder. Until today.
