I had the privilege to meet these two extraordinary four-legged creatures in the past day. This is Cozette (brown and white) and Fizgig (grey and white) and they are the most loving and picturesque fur babies I may have ever met! Thank you all (including your Human) for sharing your time and space with me ❤️

This lovely young couple decided to get engaged to be married last night! He planned the surprise diligently and pulled it off without a hitch. He definitely picked the right night for a sunset proposal in front of Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach! I was overjoyed and honored to get to be a part of their special celebration ❤️

I came across these by the Nehalem Bay State Park beach access point.

From Google Lens: These creatures are gooseneck barnacles (often Lepas anatifera), which are crustaceans that attach themselves to floating objects like driftwood.They are known for their distinct appearance, featuring a fleshy, flexible neck-like stalk (peduncle) anchored to a surface and topped with a hard, white shell.In some regions, particularly in Spain and Portugal, they are considered a rare and expensive gourmet delicacy.These barnacles often wash ashore in large clusters on flotsam following major storms.
