Who Is Ashley D Scheider Photography

Hi there!! My name is Ashley Scheider and I am a Seattle Area Photographer. I am a single mama to two wild, feral, nature loving toddlers and primarily work from home or wherever my clients take me on their shoots!

I am most passionate about outdoor family photography, capturing emotions, fun and joy during our sessions, as well as in the wild.

I strive to show and capture movement and emotion in your photos. I lean more towards a lifestyle and journalistic approach, playing games, running around, having you toss your youngest child in the air and enjoying our time together to distract you from hearing and noticing a camera in your face. My goal is to have a more relaxed feel, to let your kids explore their surroundings or for couples to feel they’re free to be exactly who they are. I like to approach the session with a calm more laid back feel to it, so you’re not stressed, and your family or partner isn’t either. Bringing your child’s favorite toy, a special blanket that your grandma quilted, a white claw or even turning our session into a short walk. However and whatever I can do to ensure that you’re capturing real, candid life moments in a setting that suits your family best.
