Same Jeep. Same day. Two completely different worlds.

Started in snow… ended in Monument Valley sunshine.

Not every day goes as planned—but you can still change where it goes next.

A full day on the rocks at Hidden Falls Adventure Park with the crew from 😎

We walked new Jeep drivers through their first real lines while helping experienced wheelers sharpen technique, spotting, throttle control, tire placement. Building confidence takes time outside your comfort zone.

Krawl 1960 isn’t just building rigs, they’re building community by showing up for new drivers and giving them the tools to do it right.

If you happened to roll past the Flagship on South Congress this weekend, you probably spotted the Unimog holding it down on the corner.

Had an awesome time hanging with the KÜHL crew and sharing my experience as a KÜHL Outsider with everyone who stopped by. Always good vibes with good people.

Beyond the robust quality builds into every Cowboy Knife, their modular system lets you customize a high-end, American-made blade to match your style.

Mine? Woodland camo blade, Rosewood grip. A little nod to the outdoors with a classic finish.

Let’s talk doughnuts.
Or is it donuts?

Either way, I’m in.

This weekend, keep it simple: good coffee, good conversation, and maybe a couple of doughnuts.

So tell me… what’s your favorite Doughnut Shop? I have a few around the country.

And how do you spell it? Doughnut or Donut?

It Takes a Village

This past weekend, I had the privilege of working alongside an incredible group of veterans through the , helping to reconnect them with the outdoors through a West Texas hunt.

Moments like these remind me that almost everything in life—whether personal growth, professional success, or giving back—takes a village. None of us get where we’re going alone. It’s the support of a strong community, shared experiences, and a willingness to lift each other up that truly make the difference.

Case in point: when it came time to pack out a field-dressed axis deer over miles of unforgiving Texas terrain, the MAINFRAME pack proved to be the perfect tool for the job. Its rugged build and smart load distribution made the haul manageable, ensuring the hard work in the field paid off without breaking us down in the process. The right gear, much like the right people, can make all the difference.

A huge thank you to , , and and Talley Scope Rings for providing the best gear possible to make this hunt a success. Having gear that performs when it matters most made all the difference in ensuring a safe, ethical, and memorable hunt.

And of course, a massive thank you to everyone who played a role in making this weekend happen. From the organizers to the landowners, volunteers, and, most importantly, the veterans themselves—this experience wouldn’t have been possible without the collective effort of so many.

If you’ve ever had someone (or something) in your corner, pushing you forward, you know exactly what I mean. Let’s keep building that village for others.

Think you had a tough day on the trail or at the office?

I thought I knew what a hard day looked like—until I got to see the Elephant Rangers at in the Klein Karoo, South Africa. These guys aren’t just clocking in; they’re out there every day, protecting some of the most incredible animals on the planet in some of the roughest terrain I’ve ever seen.

Their daily challenges? Dodging baboons, keeping an eye out for leopards, and navigating hippo territory. But the real danger? Poachers. It’s a constant battle to keep these animals safe from those who see them as nothing more than a payday.

And if all that wasn’t enough, there’s always the risk of being charged, trampled, or even gored by the very elephants they’re fighting to protect. You don’t have to look far to see the evidence—their Land Cruiser is living proof. Dented body panels, a shattered windscreen, missing headlights—all courtesy of the animals in their care.

It’s the ultimate test of courage, patience, and respect. Makes you rethink what a “hard day” really is.
