The New York State Fair is a 13-day showcase of agriculture, entertainment, education, and technology. With midway rides, concessionaires, exhibits, and concerts, it has become New York's largest annual event and an end-of-summer tradition for hundreds of thousands of families from all corners of the state. We are so excited to be back!!!

The Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show features our team of RESCUED dogs and guest stars from around the world, performing incredible feats of doggie athleticism. Dog dancing, disc dogs, high jumping, agility, tricks and stunts! As seen on America's Got Talent and Nickelodeon!

Some people may know that I love to visit Assateague Island once a year if I can. There is something about the island that is so peaceful. Between the beautiful scenery, wild horses and other wildlife, it really is a photographers paradise.

Last week Susi Solé, one of the stunning mares that has been a mother to many, was struck and killed by a vehicle. This is the second horse in less than two weeks to have died via a collision with a vehicle. Her recent foal has since had to be removed and relocated from the island.

I had the pleasure of getting a few photos of Susi back in 2023. When I visited last year, her and her band were far out in the marshes, so I did not get the pleasure of capturing her beauty a second time.

Life is short and things can change in an instant. Humans need to do better. Life on the island will go on, but this was surely a devastating loss. 💔
