Wednesday evening training! 🚒💦

Howlett Hill Fire Department Cadets and RAMS worked on their hydrant skills, practicing the fundamentals of safely and efficiently establishing a water supply.

They finished off the night by putting those skills to the test with some friendly competition — timed hydrant races! ⏱️🔥

Great night of hands-on training and teamwork!

What an incredible weekend! I had the opportunity to photograph an outstanding group of future firefighters and some amazing mentors. 🚒 I came home with nearly 1,500 photos, and there are so many awesome moments captured. I can’t wait to start sharing them with everyone—stay tuned! 📸🔥

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Before we celebrate with friends and family, enjoy great food, watch the fireworks, and take in everything this day has to offer, take a moment—a long, serious moment—to reflect on what freedom truly means.

Remember those who came before us and laid down their lives so that we could continue to enjoy the freedoms we have today. Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness made those freedoms possible.

Freedom isn’t free. It has been secured and preserved by the men and women who gave everything in service to our country.

As you celebrate today, honor their memory, cherish the freedoms we enjoy, and never forget the price that has been paid to protect them.
