Working on editing the VVS Little League tonight and I have to say....I love these! I offer two kinds of sports photography, green-screen/studio AND outdoor photos, and let the leagues choose their preference. VVS chose outdoor. I brought my small mobile lighting setup to thier field and positioned each player in front of the dugout (which Maddie helped setup with bats, etc.). I used one light to pop the shadows while maintaining a natural-lighting look and my 85/1.2 lens to create a beautifully blurred background but still keeping my incredibly cute subjects tack-sharp. The first shot is the final product, the second shot shows you the full-body image before I cropped it.
