LIGHT + LOCATION + LOVE
This is the hill I will die on. This is what's most important for a session to be breathtaking.
You HAVE to prepare ahead of time if you want your session to look amazing. And that means taking into account location, light, and love.
LOCATION: Sometimes, you have to step outside of your comfort zone. Find the space that will take the session where you want it to go, meaning "level up" if that's what you want. Think outside the box! I know MANY amazing nature locations....but if you're looking for indoors....and you're not happy with your home....do you have a friend with an amazing house we can use? Are you open to renting a Peerspace location if it's the PERFECT place for your vision? Rent an Air BNB for a girls night while we're at it? Think outside the box!
LIGHT: This goes hand in hand with location. The light matters almost more than anything else. So that means, sometimes, getting up at the crack of dawn. Or utilizing the beautiful, later afternoon harsh light. Natural light is always dreamiest. Be flexible! The light makes such a huge impact, it matters sooooo much!
LOVE: You have to love yourself, or be working on that. You need to love me. By that I mean trust my vision and what I stand for. Love matters, because if you are super duper self concious.....it's going to show. I have all sort of things I do to help you feel comfortable during our session, LOTS of tips and tricks, but you have to be able to meet me half way for the magic to happen.
And yes, this was part of an Empowerment Session recently. They are not ALL bo***ir style. Some of the moments can be you just feeling your best, wearing whatever makes you feel INCREDIBLE. Like this magical white dress right here.
If you're curious about an Empowerment Session....reach out and let's talk! No pressure, I don't bite, and I'm super honest and open about everything.
