The changing of seasons in Colorado 🍂

Not sure about everyone else, but I’m craving sweater weather in the mountains chasing fall colors. With the moody weather, temps cooling down in the mornings and change already taking place in spots, I can hardly wait now.

Snaps from an early morning walk along one of the most beautiful ridge lines in all of Colorado. The way the sun paints the high peaks of the Elk Mountains with its first glow of the day is an unforgettable sight every single time. This was one of those mornings fully lived up to the Colorful Colorado hype, watching rosy light paint the maroon colored peaks with grassy meadows below as far as the eye can see. There really is no place quite like the Western Slope 🌄

Tucked into the red rock cliffs just south of downtown Grand Junction, Redlands Mesa is one of the most beautiful rounds of golf you can find throughout the American West. Designed by Jim Engh and opened in 2001, you’d be hard pressed to find a more beautiful and fun round of golf anywhere in Colorado. Set beneath the mighty Colorado National Momument directly to the south, with the Bookcliffs and Grand Mesa as a backdrop to the north and east, this 18 hole public course should be on everyone’s list looking for nature and golf in one.
