Taking pictures of fellow photographers is always a little stressful 😅 They’re definitely not amateurs - they know RAW, camera settings, lighting, and let’s be honest… they can be way more demanding than regular people when it comes to pictures 🙈

But compliments from another photographer? Those hit differently 🥹❤️

Hailey and I didn’t even do a proper photoshoot. These were just a few spontaneous photos taken at my house… and somehow they made it to her pinned post 😍
Nothing says “good job” quite like another photographer choosing your photos to represent their brand 📸✨

The only constant in life is change.
Looking back, expecting an 18-year-old to choose their future seems a little crazy😅 We grow, we change, and sometimes the path we started on no longer fits who we are.
That’s why I’m always impressed by people who completely change careers. Why waste time staying in something that doesn’t align with your life, goals, or values anymore?

The best part? It’s never too late to change direction.
I’m curious where I’ll be in 10 years! 😊 🙈

What a fantastic afternoon! ✨
Today I had the pleasure of working at a Luxury Broker Open + Personal Branding Masterclass hosted by ❤️ It was such a great experience meeting new people, reconnecting with familiar faces, and capturing branding photos for so many incredible real estate professionals.
Working through quick branding sessions in this stunning property was a completely different dynamic than my usual in-depth branding sessions with clients but it was so much fun! Lots of laughs, great conversations, and plenty of opportunities to help people walk away with a photo they can proudly use for their personal brand. 📸
I also loved listening to Justine share valuable insights about branding and building a business people remember, trust, and want to work with. Branding is my favorite subject!!! ✨
Thank you to everyone who came out, stepped in front of my camera, and made today such a fun event. It was wonderful meeting all of you! ❤️✨

One of the most important parts of a branding photoshoot is choosing the right location. ✨

Every business is different, so the setting should reflect your brand - whether that’s your office, home, a studio, or a unique outdoor spot!

This beautiful lady is actually my first cousin aka sis 💛 She’s a meditation coach and sound healing practitioner, and we got pretty creative finding locations in the small town we come from. You’d never guess where this photo was taken! 😁🤪

My advice? Think outside the box. The most unexpected places often create the most authentic and memorable brand photos. 🤩

Of course we’d love a phone call from every person who follows us.. 🤪📞
But there’s something worse than never calling…
The followers who watch every single post, every Reel, every story 👀… but never like, never comment, never reply, never share!
We all know they’re there🤪
Those are the real ghost followers.

If you love someone’s content, take a second to like, comment, share, or reply to a story. It helps small businesses more than you can imagine and tells the algorithm that their content deserves to be seen 🙌🏼

A few years ago, 99% of people in my life lived inside my computer 🤷🏼‍♀️ Even when we met in person, most lived too far away for regular hangouts, so online chats were how we stayed connected. I had a big pack of InstaFriends 🤪
Meanwhile, the thought of walking into a real event and talking to strangers was giving me me social anxiety😅

But I started anyway. Insecure, scared, overwhelmed.
One networking event. Then another. Then another. And each one felt a little less stressful than the last 🙌🏼

And little by little over the last 3 years, I’ve met so many incredible people in REAL life - friends, clients, collaborators, and genuine connections I’m so grateful for today ✨📸

Funny how something that once felt so scary became one of the best parts of my life.
Turns out the offline world is pretty amazing too. 😅

My favorite part of my work isn’t just taking pictures — it’s listening to people’s stories 🤍

To create meaningful images, I need to know the person behind them. I want to understand what made them choose the path they’re on, what drives them, and what they’re passionate about. Those conversations, the emotions behind them, and the excitement people feel when talking about what they do are truly inspiring to me…

Everyone has their own story to tell.
I just love capturing the essence of it ✨
