The Washington County Fair is back in Marietta, and this is what last year looked like.

175 years of it. The fair's theme this year says it well: "Honoring the Past. Embracing the Future."

The parade rolled through downtown this morning and the barns have been going since 8am, but the week is just getting started.

Still ahead today: midway rides open at noon, Horse Show at 12, Market Steer Show at 1, Cincinnati Circus at 1, 3 and 5, DinoROAR at 3:30, Pedal Pull at 6, the SEOPS Tractor Pull at 6 in the grandstand, live music 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 in the Music Tent, and $1 skate at the roller rink 6 to 9.

Sunday is Kid's Day. Harness racing at 1 in the grandstand, Columbus Zoo at 3, Rough E Rodeo at 7, and the 175th Anniversary Laser Show at 9:15. Clint Carsey & The Track Layers play Civitan Park at 9:30.

Monday is Military Day. Veterans and active military get in free with military ID at the gate. 4-H Pancake Flippin' Breakfast 8 to 10 by donation, harness racing at 1, and the Demolition Derby at 7.

Tuesday is Senior Day and the fair runs right through it. Jr Fair Livestock Sale at 1, Buyers Appreciation Reception at 4, Fast Traxx at 6.

922 Front Street, Marietta. $12 at the gate, $30 for the week, 4 and under free.

Apparently we don’t know how to go on vacation without bringing cameras. 😂🌊

We shot this in Destin last year with the Insta360 and had way too much fun seeing what we could create with it , underwater shots included. Camera technology is amazing these days.

And now the timing feels right to bring this one back…

Next week, Horizon Heights is headed to Miami. 🌴

🌆 Okay Cincinnati… we forgot how good your city looks from up here. 👀

We first filmed the Queen City several years ago, and while visiting again this week, there was no way we were leaving without sending the drone back up for another look.

And Cincinnati gave us plenty to work with, the Roebling Bridge, Great American Ball Park, Paycor Stadium, the Ohio River, and that unmistakable downtown skyline.

The timing couldn't have been much better either. ⚾🏈 Baseball is still in full swing, and the Bengals kick off the regular season September 13 at Paycor Stadium against Tampa Bay. Cincinnati Bengals

🌊 You have to see what the Muskingum River is doing right now…

After relentless heavy rain, an incredible amount of water is surging over Devola Dam No. 2 in Marietta, and seeing it from the air puts the sheer power of the river into perspective.

We took the drone out to capture it from a completely different point of view , flying just above the churning water, alongside the dam, and pulling high above it to show the incredible amount of water moving through the Muskingum.

Some of these passes put you right over the middle of it. The power of this water is unreal.

With flooding impacting communities throughout our area, our thoughts are with everyone dealing with flooded homes, businesses, property damage, and difficult conditions. Please stay safe, keep your distance from high water, and look out for one another.
