A few years ago, my oldest daughter, Savannah, who has since graduated from college, made the switch from playing middle school basketball (with me coaching) to volleyball (with me cheering from the sidelines). With my new role as a spectator, I decided to start taking photos, so I dusted off my Best Buy camera kit and got to work. While it was great for capturing birthdays and Christmas moments,
it quickly became clear that it wasn't ideal for fast-paced sports action. To up my game, I turned to a longtime friend and professional photographer, Doug Engle, who works for the local paper. Doug offered some valuable advice on equipment and settings, which set me off on a new photography journey that continues today. As I delved into this new passion, I discovered how much joy it brought others to receive photos of their athletes. It felt like I was giving families a special gift after each game, something I truly enjoyed. Over the past decade, I've taken hundreds of thousands of photos, and this website was born out of the need to share a portion of them. Along the way, I've been blessed with the opportunity to visit amazing places and meet wonderful people. My journey has also led to opportunities like taking event photos for the Ocala Gator Quarterback Club, which opened doors to becoming a photographer for GatorBait magazine and covering the Florida Gators and their SEC sporting events. I am deeply thankful to my Lord for so many things, especially for the incredible sights He's allowed me to capture. I'm especially grateful for the chance to photograph my daughters, Savannah and Saylor, in their lives and sports, along with the many other athletes and families I've had the pleasure to meet.
