One of the first questions I get when a family books is whether to shoot indoors, outdoors, or both.
Here is how I think about it. Outdoor sessions give you variety, natural light, and that unmistakable New England environment. The South Shore has incredible settings – coastline, wooded paths, open fields, and small-town charm that photographs beautifully in any season.
My studio is a restored 1905 carriage house in Marion, and it offers a warm, controlled environment that works especially well for creative portraits or if your student wants something more polished and editorial.
Most Signature sessions blend both, which gives families the widest range of images. My Classic package also includes two locations, so you get that variety built right in. When we meet for your planning session, we will figure out exactly which combination fits your student best.
