Kayla and Paul pledged forever in the middle of hurricane rains on 10/10. The sideways rains kept us inside on the wedding day in the beautiful new building at Something Blue Mountain Venue, but for these Florida natives- the invitation back on Tuesday of that week was exactly what drew them to the beauty of this venue. I can't believe this gem is just 15 minutes from my house. How blessed are we to live in these beautiful mountains, and to have the perfect rain plan if things go hurricane on your wedding day.

Just when I thought I had explored every inch of the biltmore grounds, Weston planned his proposal in a new place for me- the bass pond. What a gift to watch him ask Alex to marry him. And the thing that gave me a tear in my eye? I've photographed stubborn- not going to smile- Weston for over a decade. He said to me "see how easy it is for me to smile? She gave me smile." Congratulations to these two. .

I'm still on cloud nine after this cloudy Biltmore wedding day. There’s an old Irish saying, “A wet knot is a knot not easily untied.” The rain may have fallen, but it only seemed to make the day feel more sacred—the mist settling over Biltmore, the quiet romance in the air, and two people stepping into the life God has so beautifully prepared for them.
What a beautiful beginning to a lifetime together. Congratulations Kevin and Erin!

My books for 2027 are filling quickly and I'm going to go ahead and call it. Lauren's wedding will be my favorite. (Even though it's in South Georgia in August 🔥). I've gotten to watch her grow from a toddler in my lifegroup at church to the most beautiful woman, and I'm so thankful God brought these two together for forever.
