Just switched out some my photography including a new 40” x 60” canvas of Animas Forks, Colorado at Cafe Salsa in Cotati, California.😊
My photography is also for sale matted and un-framed at Ronnie’s Bar and Grill in Rohnert Park on East Cotati Ave.
And by the way, both places have great food. 😋

Being chosen for the Bodie Foundation calendar is a huge honor but I am beyond ecstatic that they chose my photo for the cover. 😊

Hill of Crosses, Lithuania 🇱🇹.

Here is a cell phone photo of a small part of what I saw on our travels today in Latvia and Lithuania.

The Hill of Crosses has more than 150 thousand crosses which attract people with its peace, spirituality, authenticity and sacred nature.
It is thought that the first crosses were placed on the former Domantai hill fort after the 1831 Uprising.

Over the centuries, not only crosses, but giant crucifixes, carvings of Lithuanian patriots, statues of the Virgin Mary and thousands of tiny effigies and rosaries have been brought here by Catholic pilgrims.

On September 7, 1993, Pope John Paul II visited the Hill of Crosses, declaring it a place for hope, peace, love and sacrifice. (Borrowed and condensed from numerous sources including Wikipedia).

I photographed this fellow while out getting photographs of Owls and Eagles in Carson Valley, Nevada. My buddy Mike spotted him and my friend Merry captioned the photo.
Tracey was out of country but I still had a good time visiting my friends. Already looking forward to next time...
