A little tip for expecting parents 🤍

Newborn sessions are best booked while you’re still pregnant — yes, even before baby arrives. I know that can sound a little confusing at first, but this is how professional newborn photographers are able to guarantee availability for those sleepy, curly newborn days.

When you book during pregnancy, your due date is placed on my calendar tentatively. Since babies love arriving on their own schedule, I only take a limited number of newborn due dates each month to allow flexibility once your little one is here.

Many parents don’t realize this and often reach out after baby is already 1–2 weeks old. Sometimes I do have last minute availability, but often my schedule is already full.

If you already know you love a photographer’s work and want to secure those first precious memories, it’s always best to reach out ahead of time 💛
