Where have I been this August? I was one of the lucky 560 alumni performing with decades of other Phantom Regiment Alumni at their 70th Anniversary Alumni Corps Performance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. at the Drum Corps International Championships and got to fulfill that drum corps dream. 41 years after my age out year, never thought I would have this opportunity to reunite in such a transcendent way. It was an experience of a lifetime reuniting with people I marched with and making new friends with those that came after me. What we were able to pull together in four days of rehearsal in Indy is a testament to the deep talent and commitment of all that were involved in this tremendous undertaking... everyone reached levels that greatly exceeded expectations. With the largest alumni corps ever, the decibel readings were off the charts and not a dry eye in the house. The show was a compilation of the greatest years in PR history with integrated video history bits - a wonderful tribute to the Phantom Regiment legacy. SUTA
