👋🏻 Hi Dog-lovers from around the universe (but mostly the U.P.) and welcome to Dogs of MQT - an account dedicated the dogs of Marquette, their humans, their favorite hiking spots, their adventures and their stories.
The first story is the inspiration for this account. This beautiful chocolate boy called Marquette home and loved every part of it. The year-round hikes at Sugarloaf and Wetmore, and the Noque, the puppy 🍦 at Frosty Treats, his friends at the Dog Park and Poet's Poets Pet Parlor Doggie Daycare and Boarding , disc golfing with mom and dad and most of all swimming in the big lake 🌊
Jude crossed over the 🌈 bridge earlier this February after losing his short battle with Lymphoma. He was so loved, and still is, and he brought so much joy into so many lives in his too-short time on earth. Until the last of his days, he soaked up all of his favorite things in Marquette with his chocolate newfie brother, Jabba. His mom made sure of that 🖤
Jude was the happiest dog, living his best dog life and unconditionally loving everything and everyone in the little city on the big lake. You’ll see his smiling face on this feed from time to time, reminding everyone to get outside and enjoy the sunshine, roll in the grass, fetch it up, take naps, snuggle the people and pets you love, eat the snow (and sometimes the 💩), live un-leashed, give sloppy kisses, chase sunsets, and jump in the lake every chance you get. ✨
If you are a dog owner in Marquette and want to be featured, DM or email us a pic of your doggo, breed and favorite part of MQT to set up a professional photo session! Pup-only, pup + adult humans and pup + children sessions available. 📸
