The Marquez Area Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting nominations to fill a vacancy on our Board of Directors for the remainder of the current term.

If you are a Chamber member in good standing and have a passion for supporting local businesses, strengthening our community, and helping shape the future of the Chamber, we encourage you to consider serving—or nominate another qualified member.

Board members play an important role in planning community events, supporting local businesses, developing new initiatives, and helping the Chamber continue to grow and serve the Marquez area.

Nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

Excellent collaboration during the CenTex Regional Alliance gathering today in Mexia! A very informative presentation by a representative of the Texas Workforce Commission was followed by group discussion on what developments are highlighted in our respective areas. I wish a member of the Marquez EDC would’ve been available to attend this educational seminar!
