One of my favorite things about senior photography is getting to learn what makes each senior unique and incorporating those passions into their session. For Brooke, that meant spending part of the evening at the boathouse, capturing a sport that has become such an important part of her story.

As graduation season comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on all of the amazing seniors and families I have had the privilege of working with this year.

Thank you for trusting me to capture this milestone and preserve these memories. Watching each senior celebrate their unique story, accomplishments, and dreams for the future has been such a joy.

It feels like just yesterday many of the seniors I photographed this year were starting their final year of high school.

Now they're graduating.

Senior year has a way of moving faster than anyone expects. That's why I love what I do. Senior portraits aren't just about beautiful images—they're about preserving a season that will never come again.

May is the month of lasts.

The last prom.The last game under the stadium lights.The last spring concert.The last time they walk the halls as a high school student.

Some of these moments are circled on the calendar.You know they’re coming.

But somehow, they still arrive too fast.

And while your senior is busy looking ahead toward everything that’s next…you’re quietly trying to hold onto everything that’s been.

The laugh you hear from the other room.The shoes by the door.The late-night snack runs.The car rides.The version of them that still feels like home.

This season is beautiful.And emotional.And fleeting.

That’s why these photographs matter.

Not just for graduation announcements or social media posts…but because one day these images will remind you exactly who they were in this season of life.

And that matters.

To the Class of 2026 — congratulations.I am so excited for all that is ahead for each of you.
