This fair feels stitched to my childhood.

The derby. My uncle being on the fair board and getting to park in "his spot." The endless midway with food trucks and rides. The best taffy on earth. And riding thr Scrambler like it was the greatest thrill in the world.

We moved away for a season when I was little, but this was always the fair we came home to.

Coming back here tonight feels like stepping into a place where time has stood still...where, for a little while, I’m right back in those childhood days, but with my family.

This sweet family was full of warmth, joy, and so much love for one another. You could feel the pride and connection between every generation, and it made documenting this season for them so special.

To the Class of 2026...Congratulations!

What a gift it has been to step into this senior season and get to witness so many different stories, personalities, and paths unfolding within this graduating class.

There is something really special about this moment. The closing of one chapter and the beginning of whatever comes next.

Whether today feels exciting, emotional, or somewhere in between, I hope you feel proud of how far you’ve come.

Wyatt’s session felt so personal to who he is, and I loved that from the very beginning.

We incorporated his Chrysler and his dog into the session, which made the whole evening feel relaxed, fun, and genuinely reflective of this season of his life. He even chose to wear a suit for part of his session, which I loved because it felt so intentional and so him.

And honestly, I loved that he truly enjoyed the experience. He wasn’t just showing up for photos. He really wanted his session to reflect who he is, and I think that made these images even more meaningful.

There were so many genuine smiles and moments throughout the evening, and it was such a joy getting to capture them.

So grateful I got to capture this season for you, Wyatt. Cheering you on in your next chapter!

Although Rylee now lives on the East Coast, it was really special getting to photograph her senior session back here, where she still has so much family and so many connections.

Her session took place around her aunt and uncle’s home, and despite the hot summer evening, we captured some truly beautiful portraits together. She has such a naturally gorgeous look in front of the camera, and I loved getting to document this season for her.

I also loved getting to learn a little more about the things she enjoys—beach trips, mountains, basketball, snowboarding, puzzles, spending time with family and friends, and all the little things that make life fun.

Rylee, I’m so grateful I got to capture this season for you. Cheering you on in everything ahead!

Mia’s senior session was extra special because it took place on her 17th birthday 🤍

We started the evening celebrating with cupcakes and balloons against the exposed brick walls downtown, and then spent the second half of her session walking around the local fair...taking in all the lights, rides, games, and food trucks along the way. It felt so fun, carefree, and perfectly fitting for this season of life.

Mia, I have known you since you were little, and it has been so fun watching you grow into the person you are today. It is hard to believe this next chapter is already here.

As she prepares to join the Army soon, I know she is stepping into such an exciting season ahead.

So grateful I got to capture this season for you. Cheering you on in everything ahead!
