The Kolpanen Family

What a sweet family to spend the evening with! The Kolpanen kids are always so much fun and incredibly well behaved. I genuinely look forward to seeing their name pop up on my calendar because I know we’re in for an evening full of laughter, fun, and the sweetest memories.

There’s something pretty special about getting to photograph seniors doing the things they genuinely love. 🎯

This session was especially fun for me because shooting bow is a hobby I enjoy myself, so getting to incorporate that side of his personality into his senior portraits was right up my alley. I love when a session feels less like “senior pictures” and more like a little glimpse into who someone is right now, the things they’re passionate about, the time they spend outdoors, and the interests that make them them.

Some things in life just feel like they were always meant to be, and Emma and Jayme are one of those things.

I had the absolute honor of photographing Emma and Jayme’s wedding day, and I don’t think I could have dreamed up a more full-circle moment. From knowing them as my students to now standing behind my camera as they promised forever to one another… my heart was so incredibly full.

Their day was filled with so much love, joy, laughter, and all the little moments that made it unmistakably them. Some people, some moments, and some stories just seem to fall perfectly into place.

Emma and Jayme, you two were meant to find each other—and I’m so grateful I got to capture the beginning of this beautiful next chapter.
