I hope you all love photos of dogs in motion as much as I do. :D In this third and final post from the June Pure Joy Agility trial, I am showcasing some of my favorite "flying dogs" from the final day of the event, along with a few other favorite moments from the day. Looking forward to capturing more of these action packed runs next weekend!

As I looked through the photos from the second day of the Pure Joy Agility trial, I was reminded that one of my favorite parts of being there was seeing how much fun each team was having. As the photographer, I have the unique position to have viewed every single run of the event. And not once did I see anyone lose patience with their dog. It's obvious how much work goes into training for this, and I was so glad to see that everyone still had a smile and a cuddle for their canine counterpart - even on the rare occasions that the dog may have seemingly forgotten all training and chose chaos out on the course. I think that feeling is reflected in the happy faces in these images. I love the big smiles that some of the dogs get as they conquer obstacles, and the sheer intensity of others. I hope you enjoy this virtual visit to the trial!!

As I posted the link for the upcoming trial gallery this morning, I realized I never shared any of the images from the June Pure Joy Agility Trial!! Over the course of the three day trial, there were somewhere in the neighborhood of 900 runs, which resulted in a total of 13,000 images!! It was A LOT to sort and edit, but it was worth it! I love seeing the interaction between canine and human teammates. Each series of images from a run tell a little story from the moments of bonding at the start line, intense moments on the course to joyful celebrations at the finish. I'll share a few favorites from each day in separate posts. This first batch of images are from the beginning of the trial, when everyone is getting warmed up and anticipating two more days of fun!

A new furry family member means it's time for a new session so she can have photos to match her brothers. And, I do believe this little lady did it in style. I love how she goes from cute and funny to an elegant model to a sporty gal, all in one session!
