Every photographer has a season that feels like home.

Mine is fall.

It’s the season where kids stop worrying about the camera because they’re too busy throwing leaves. Parents naturally pull each other a little closer. The sunsets linger just long enough to paint everything gold, and somehow the simplest moments become the ones you’ll treasure for years.
I don’t chase perfectly posed smiles, I chase the giggles, the forehead kisses, the tiny hands reaching for yours, and the moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

Okay… we know. 😂 It’s been a hot minute since we’ve actually posted!

Life has been BUSY (which we’re definitely thankful for), but we wanted to hop on here and say we hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July! ❤️🤍💙 We hope it was full of family, friends, fireworks, and making memories!

Hearod Photo Co. is officially a member of the Missouri Professional Photographers Association (MOPPA)! 🥹🎉

This is a HUGE milestone for us. We never want to stop learning, growing, and becoming better photographers for every single one of our clients.

Being part of MOPPA gives us opportunities to learn from some of the best in the industry, attend conventions, continue our education, and keep bringing fresh ideas and techniques back home.

Andddd… we’ve got some pretty exciting things in the works. 🫣 Bigger goals. Bigger dreams. Bigger opportunities. We can’t share everything just yet, but just know we’re working hard behind the scenes to make Hearod Photo Co. even better than it already is.

🏆✨ WE WON 2ND PLACE IN THE 2026 READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS! ✨🏆

To even be nominated for the Readers’ Choice Awards was an honor, but to place 2nd for Best Photographer is something I never imagined when I first started this journey.

This business is so much more than taking pictures. It’s long nights editing, early mornings preparing, investing back into my dream, and pouring my heart into every single session. Every family, senior, couple, newborn, and client who has trusted me with their memories has helped make this possible.

I genuinely LOVE what I do, and I wouldn’t be here without the support of this amazing community. Thank you to everyone who voted, shared my name, recommended me, booked sessions, and cheered me on along the way. Your support means more than words can express.
